The Eugenia Hotel - Bangkok

The Eugenia Hotel - Bangkok - Overview
Travelers who want a taste of the fabled Orient will definitely appreciate The Eugenia, Bangkok's pre-eminent boutique hotel.

Centrally located in the heart of the Thai capital, this hidden gem exudes Eastern colonial grandeur as it is housed in a charmingly restored colonial mansion.

The interior decor of Eugenia is a lavish assemblage of cushy armchairs, parquet flooring and some 300-plus antiques pieces from the owner's private collection. High ceilings, four-poster beds and hand-beaten copper bathtubs dominate the four suites of The Eugenia. In an effort to preserve the buildings authentic feel, no elevator is installed in the hotel however modern amenities and round-the-clock concierge service is available.  Should you wish to travel the city in style, Jaguars and Mercedes limousines are available to chauffeur guests.

In the rear courtyard of The Eugenia, the celadon-tiled swimming pool and Thai sala entice the visitor to take a welcome respite from Bangkok's sweltering heat. Drawing inspiration from the great Chinese voyager of the same name, the Zheng He Lounge pampers guests by offering an array of gourmet coffee and tea, as well as western and oriental breakfasts.  The Eugenia's D.B. Bradley Dining Room, named after the first Western missionary doctor to the kingdom, enthralls with its gourmet offering of cross-culture delicacies.
